Paint Mosaics came from many a day I had of wasted paint on my pallet from traditional paintings. I learned through trial and error to scrape up and reform the dried paint chips and pieces back onto the canvas like a glass mosaic.

Big Blue is the first of my Crabs of Paint Mosaic art. Made with left over paint from pallet. I didn’t want to waste anything and a dynamic crab image came to life. The blues speckled with other colors makes this crawler pop with visual energy.
